Kingdome of Light Chat

Kingdome History: When Dusk separated from Dawn, he claimed the valley as his own. The territory was the perfect place for many predators and in turn, they are slightly more common in Dusk’s land. He worked in collaboration with Dawn to create the strong and well-built Kingdomes we have here today. He died many years after we moved to this land. No one truly knows what happened; other than Dawn. But he came back to the herd with her at his side, horribly wounded by the claws of a grizzly bear. He died shortly after and since then there have been six other lords, all special in their own way, who have helped to make this Kingdome what it is today.

Personalities: Deer of the Light are normally strong and brave. They want to be the best they can at all cost, while at the same time wanting to be useful to their Kingdome. They will risk their lives for others if needed. The deer within this land will speak their mind and beliefs; they do not care what others think, as long as they, themselves believe what they claim.

Physical Characteristics: The deer of Almanta tend to be large and strong. Their Antlers depend on their size, varieties are common. They normally have longer legs, helping with speed, agility or strength. Their anatomy varies quite a bit and each animal is different in its own way. The pelts of these deer are normally thick and luscious during the colder Airs and they tend to be a light color, as if bleached by the sun.

Food Habits: The food in the valley is quite similar all Quest round. In the Air of Fallen Leaves and the Air of Hidden sun, we will eat anything from bark off trees and berries to digging up the grass under the snow. In the sun filled Airs, we will eat the fresh and luscious grass. We have a solid diet, but we will eat anything we find if we have to.

Habitat Description: Almanta is a beautiful paradise. During the Airs with warm weather, it will almost always be sunny. In the Colder Airs, there is deep and perfectly level snow. In the Air of Endless light, we get the odd droughts of the river and the lake, but it normally never gets unbearable. The land is virtually flat with the occasional hills, but the walls shoot out of the side, having only a slight tilt. There are not many entrances out of the valley, but the ones we have are the perfect escapes.

The Kingdome of Darkness…

Hello wanderer.  You have entered the Kingdome of Darkness, were you unaware?  Because here lies my Kingdome.  The deer that will follow what they believe is right, no matter what the cost.  My name is Chemo, and welcome to the home of the loyal.

Kingdome History: As you probably know, Dawn led her followers up the great mountain into the forest.  My ancestors followed her into the cold winds and snow that rule the mountains and found comfort in the home she created for us.  Dawn was a strong and kind leader, selflessly doing what was best for her Kingdome.  She set boundaries and strung camps up that I still lead the herd to today.  She was quick and clever and had one of the biggest hands in our short history.  

Personalities: Deer of my Kingdome are often outspoken and not afraid of voicing their opinions.  They’re also kind and selfless, like Dawn herself, but can also be rather insensitive sometimes.  We normally prefer to keep our emotions hidden though, especially from the Kingdome of Light.  

Physical Characteristics: In my Kingdome, bucks often have larger antlers even if they are small in size.  We also tend to be a little darker in color except the underneath of our tails which are almost always white.  The head anatomy tends to be slightly more squarish and we tend to be slighter than the other Kingdome as we live mostly off berries and evergreen rather than thick lush grass.

Food Habits: We will eat almost anything we can find, especially in the Air of Hidden Sun, when snow is very deep in Salanfyer.  Grass is always our first choice and we do have a few fields to rely on, but not many.  When there is little good grass available, I will often lead the herd to a water source where deciduous trees grow and shrubs line the water’s edge.  Once the greenery fades, we will head into the woods and munch on evergreen as well as any berries or nuts we happen to find.  Stripping young bark off of saplings is energy efficient food, although we do have to be careful not to kill the trees, as our Knower rightfully tells us.

Habitat Description: As we live up the mountain our lands are often in cold shadow.  Deep evergreen forests cluster everywhere and the water is cold from ice runoff.  Snow and ice are a common thing, increasing as you gain altitude.  It is not unheard of for snow and below freezing temperatures to visit us in supposedly warmer seasons.  We are avalanche prone and in spots our land can be extremely rocky.
